3D composite drainage net

3D Composite Drainage Net: A Comprehensive Solution for Efficient Drainage and Ground Reinforcement

Structure

The 3D composite drainage net is composed of a 3D geonet core and needle – punched perforated non – woven geotextiles adhered to both sides of the geonet core. The 3D geonet core features a thick vertical rib, along with an inclined rib at the top and bottom respectively. The vertical rib forms the drainage channel, while the criss – crossed upper and lower ribs provide support.

Performance Characteristics

Superior Drainage Performance

The 3D composite drainage net (also called three-dimensional drainage geonet or tri-planar geosynthetic drainage net) can rapidly drain accumulated water such as groundwater on roads. It efficiently removes water between the foundation and sub-base and also collects and drains water in various scenarios. This ensures effective water removal, preventing potential water-related damage. Learn more about geomembrane series for anti-seepage protection.

Good Strength and Stability

Even under long-term high-pressure loads, the drainage geonet maintains thickness and stable drainage performance. With high tensile and shear strength, it withstands stresses from overlying structures, similar to the geogrid reinforcement system.

Excellent Anti-Filtration Function

The needle-punched nonwoven geotextiles bonded to the 3D drainage core effectively prevent soil particles and impurities from blocking drainage channels. This ensures long-term stability of the drainage system, a principle aligned with geotextile separation and filtration solutions.

Corrosion and Acid-Alkali Resistance

Made from HDPE drainage material, the product performs reliably in diverse soil and water environments. Its high resistance to corrosion and chemical attack ensures long service life. Reference: Geosynthetics Research Institute (GRI).

Remarkable Isolation and Reinforcement

The three-dimensional drainage net prevents fine sub-base materials from mixing with the foundation, acting as an isolation layer. Additionally, it restricts lateral aggregate movement, enhancing load-bearing capacity similar to geogrid reinforcement in civil engineering.

Application Fields

Landfill Sites

Applied in multiple landfill layers such as groundwater drainage, leachate collection, and gas collection. It ensures safe operation and reduces pollution risk.

Transportation Engineering

Used in highway subgrades, railways, and tunnels, the 3D geonet drainage system enhances infrastructure stability and durability, ensuring safe traffic operations.

Municipal Engineering

Deployed in urban underground drainage systems, parking lots, and squares, preventing waterlogging and maintaining smooth urban operations.

Water Conservancy Projects

Plays a role in reservoirs, canals, and dams, improving drainage and anti-seepage reliability. See related Salt Lake Anti-Seepage Model.
