INTRODUTION:

Geotextiles, due to their diverse product range, lightweight nature, and ease of transportation, are widely used as wrapping materials in the construction of underground drainage systems worldwide. In China’s agricultural mechanization process, the complex soil conditions have gradually spurred the development of various geotextile technologies for underground drainage pipes. However, improper selection of geotextiles has led to severe blockages in underground drainage pipes in many irrigation areas, even premature loss of drainage function. Therefore, effectively preventing drainage pipe blockage and further maintaining stable permeability in underground drainage applications has become extremely urgent. Currently, the two commonly used geotextile wrapping technologies include ordinary spunbond polypropylene (PP) nonwoven fabric and thermoplastic spunbond nonwoven geotextile.

1：Filtering and Drainage：

Groundwater Diversion: Drainage boards or geotextiles form drainage channels in projects like dam foundations or retaining walls to divert groundwater, thereby reducing soil pressure.

2：Reinforcement and Stabilization

Reinforce embankments: Laying geotextiles on weak foundations can disperse and transfer loads, reinforce the foundation, improve the stability of roads, railways, and airports, and prevent low-temperature freeze damage.

Protect slopes: Geotextiles can reinforce slopes and prevent soil erosion.

3：Seepage prevention and isolation
